Instructor: Jenny Dally

Monday, August 7, 7:00–9:00 pm

From water lillies to Mona Lisa’s smile, come get schooled on the basics of art appreciation, from how to read a painting to how to talk about art movements. You’ll pocket a few talking points from the a range of major periods in art history, explore the local DC museum offerings, and get an insider’s perspective into curating a museum. By the end of the class, you’ll have all the tips and tricks you’d have actually remembered from your favorite art history class in college if you’d only shown up for class.

Jenny Dally holds a degree in art history and works in the DC museum world. Her art has been featured on numerous refrigerators across the country.
