Nevertheless She Persisted: Feminism in the Era of Trump

Instructor: Kim Pendleton

Monday, July 31, 7:00–9:00 pm

What does it mean to be a feminist in the age of Trump?  How can you learn some of the basic vocab of women’s studies, feminist theory, and nasty woman-hood?

Join us for a casual-but-informative introduction to Women’s Studies 101, perfect for those who never got their basics down or who could use a bar-style brush up, including a tour through the waves of feminism, intersectionality, a feminist map of Washington, DC, and revolution plotting over cocktails.

Your teacher, Kimberly PS, has been annoying and enlightening audiences with her feminist rants for so long that they are finally giving her a Ph.D. in it.
